Having dominated their opponents brilliantly before, much was expected for FC Barcelona to continue the same way after the international break, and they delivered exactly the same. Once again, all the components of the Barca unit responded well, with all the players giving their best, as Barca cruised past Sevilla, 5-1.

With a first-half brace from ace forward Robert Lewandowski, a brilliant masterclass performance from Pedri, and Torre's final finish in the end moments, the fixture seemed a perfect way for the Blaugrana club to return to La Liga action. However, while these stars clearly stood out in their roles, credit needs to be given to the club's backline, who played a superb role in helping prodigy keeper Inaki Pena.
Similar to the last few games, Pena didn't look quite comfortable between the sticks; however, the collective effort of Barca's back four never let that be clearly evident. Praising the performances of the four, Barcelona boss Flick mentioned,
""Kounde and Balde were both great. It's unbelievable what Cubarsí is doing at his age. Iñigo is also adapting well and giving us great performances.""

Although Barca's dominating display in the fixture was clearly a huge positive for the Culer fans, the biggest one for them was definitely the return of their passionate prodigy, Gavi. Having returned back for the Blaugrana club after a humongous 349-day duration, the 20-year-old superstar was hailed with massive cheering as he replaced ace star Pedri, coming in with the armband.
After the fixture, Hansi Flick again expressed his happiness on the pivot star's return, stating,
""We're happy to have Gavi back. It's amazing. When you see the atmosphere at the stadium, it's amazing.""

Having dominated Sevilla in such a brilliant fashion at home, Barca would hope to continue the same way as they host Bayern Munich in their upcoming UCL fixture. While certainly beating Sevilla wasn't any easy either, Bayern, having the likes of superstars Harry Kane, Thomas Muller, and Kimmich, would pose a bigger challenge to Flick's Barcelona setup. Although it remains in the future as to who would emerge victorious from the matchday, FC Barcelona would certainly give their 100% for the game.
