Unlike many would have believed before the season, FC Barcelona's 2024/2025 season has been brilliant. Sitting comfortably at the table-top position in La Liga, with 24 points from the nine games so far, the Blaugrana club has established commanding control in the Spanish League this season. While it has been much of a team effort so far, special praise needs to be showered upon Club Captain Raphinha, who has been unstoppable this season.

Having 6 goals and as many assists in his 11 appearances for the Blaugrana club, the Brazilian ace has led the club's attack force from the front. Moreover, his pacy runs, key passes, and active buildup in counters have been invaluable besides these spectacular numbers in the 2024/25 campaign. On top of that, Raphinha's contribution to the unit as an armband holder has been immense, with the Brazilian having provided more than justice to the role he was offered at the start of the season.

Understandably, Barca boss Hansi Flick has been simply in love with Raphinha, whom he has seen as someone putting his all in since the first training session. Not only because of his performances but, more importantly, because of his incredible, never-giving attitude, Flick has been in awe of the versatile star. In fact, recent reports suggest that the German mastermind had preferred signing Dani Olmo over Nico Williams, witnessing Raphinha's dedication to the side.

Not to forget, Nico Williams had been pretty close to joining FC Barcelona this summer; however, Flick chose Raphinha as the starting winger, and Barca decided to halt on Nico. And as it turns out, the manager has been pretty successful in bringing out the best version of Raphinha. Regarding the same, while there were speculations of him making a big move that could have been profitable for Barca, Flick stands very clear that the player isn't leaving.
