Levante vs Barcelona match preview
Will Barcelona's astonishing start to the season continue? So far, Hansi Flick's side have won all five matches they have played, scoring exactly five times in four of them. On Wednesday evening, the Blaugrana began their Champions League campaign by demolishing Feyenoord 5-1 at Camp Nou. Raphinha bagged another brace, Karim Adeyemi ad Lamine Yamal were also on target, before Gabriel Jesus' glancing header continued their scoring spree.
In La Liga, the champions have also put five past Elche, Rayo Vallecano and Valencia, making Athletic Club's 2-0 defeat at Catalonia look like an impressive result. This leaves Barcelona as the only side boasting a 100% record and, ahead of matches against Racing Santander and Sevilla before the international break, it is hard to see when this winning streak will come to an end.
So, can Levante become the first side to stop Barcelona this season? Well, probably not. Los Granotes finished 16th in La Liga last season as a newly-promoted club, and staying up is their aim once again. Last weekend, Luís Castro's side played out a goalless draw with Málaga in which, frankly, very little happened at La Rosaleda.
Levante lost their season opener heavily at Espanyol, but are unbeaten since, also drawing 0-0 with Osasuna, as well as causing a major shock by smashing Real Betis 5-2 during their last home game. Well, it would not be a surprise if it is raining goals again at Estadi Ciutat de València on Sunday afternoon, but the vast majority of them will be scored by the visitors.

Luís Castro has named identical lineups for Levante's last two matches, thereby not forecast to make many changes here. Australian goalkeeper Mat Ryan has conceded ten goals across two previous meetings with Barcelona, a figure that could rise further here, while Iván Romero will be their primary threat in attack.

Anthony Gordon was rested in mid-week, thereby likely to return on the left wing in place of scorer Karim Adeyemi while, now fully up to speed, Rodri will start a third match in a row.
