FC Barcelona, with yet another dominating performance, cruised past Deportivo Alaves in the 9th La Liga matchday, 3-0. Being much aware of what it meant to have a 3-point lead over Clasico rivals going into the international break, the Blaugrana club looked excellent right from the beginning. Despite having Ferran Torres injured in the initial minutes, the club didn't let that ruin their momentum, as they netted 3 past Alaves keeper Sivera in the 1st half itself, comfortably gathering the 3 points from the game.

While every FC Barcelona player stood crucial in the club's overall performance, some just stood a level apart above others, making this 3-0 win look much more comfortable for the Blaugrana club. On that note, here is a look at the 3 Barcelona stars who stood out in the club's 3-0 victory over Alaves:

Robert Lewandowski

Since the 2024/25 season started, with Hansi Flick reuniting with the superstar forward, much was expected of him, and he has been delivering exactly the same. Already having found another prime at 36 years old, the forward boasted excellent stats going into the fixture, with 9 goals and 2 assists from the 10 appearances. However, that didn't seem enough for the star number 9, who added 3 further, making it 12 goals and 2 assists so far this season.

Giving FC Barcelona the lead within the first few minutes of the game, Lewandowski's early goal uplifted the club's morale, having gotten Ferran injured minutes before. Further doubling the lead on a brilliant opportunity made by Captain Raphinha, the forward was on a brace just within the initial 22 minutes. The final nail in the coffin was struck by Lewa as he placed the ball beautifully past Sivera, completing his hattrick within the 31 minutes of the 1st half. Deservedly bagging the MOTM award for his first hat trick this season, much would be expected of him in Barcelona's season ahead.
