  • FC Barcelona linked up with Spain star Dani Olmo.
  • Rising interest in Philogene rules him out as a Barca option.

Barcelona is facing severe financial problems, which will restrict what the club can spend in the current transfer window.
As a result, the Catalans have been very restricted in what they can do, and most transfer gossip has focused on who could be leaving Camp Nou rather than new arrivals.

Dani Olmo could return to FC Barcelona

Today comes a couple of reports about possible in-comings, though, with Dani Olmo and Jaden Philogene being the doable new additions to the Blaugrana club.
Olmo has been a part of Spain's excellent start to this Euros tournament, and the RB Leipzig midfielder is attracting attention and admirers with his performances.

Interestingly, of course, Olmo was once a Barca player and came up through the club's ranks before he left and moved on to new pastures.
RB Leipzig demands £60 million for him, which is far more than what Barcelona's financial conditions allow them to pay.
But the club hopes they can still do a deal and find a way to sort out a transfer that would return Olmo to Camp Nou.

Philogene's deal seems unlikely

The other player allegedly in their sights is 22-year-old English forward Philogene, who has enjoyed a standout season in England's Championship with Hull City.
Philogene is on the radar of several other clubs in the Premier League, and at least one has supposedly already made a substantial offer for the player.

A move overseas for Philogene to Barcelona seems unlikely, and he will probably remain in England when or if he moves on from Hull this summer.
