FC Barcelona, being on a victory streak of 6 La Liga games, is set to host Getafe at the Montjuic in their upcoming La Liga fixture. While all of the Blaugrana club players have been pivotal in their contributions to the club's brilliant start to the 2024/25 season so far, the club sensation Lamine Yamal has clearly been more exceptional than the rest.

Having made nine goal contributions in his 7 appearances in the 2024/25 season so far, the 17-year-old has been one of the best European players. In fact, not just his teammates, the coach, or the club legends, but everybody falls short of words in describing the way the young prodigy is making his name on the European football stage at such a young age of 17.
Recently, Getafe boss Jose Bordalas praised Lamine Yamal before the club's face-off against the Blaugrana giants. Bordalas, who has been Johan Cruyff's fan since his early days, seems to have been amazed by the young prodigy, Lamine Yamal, who is trying his best to follow Cruyff's playstyle in the modern Barca setup. Speaking in the pre-match media address, Bordalas remarked,
""It is a delight to watch Lamine Yamal play. He has spectacular maturity and numbers.""
- Jose Bordalas
Having scored or contributed to the club's scoreline every time this season, Yamal has been significantly crucial for Flick's Barcelona setup. However, apart from praising Yamal, the Getafe boss made a very heartfelt gesture in the pre-match conference as he sent his best wishes to the Blaugrana club's star goalkeeper, Ter Stegen, who faced a severe injury against Villarreal.
""On behalf of the entire squad, I would like to give Ter Stegen a lot of encouragement after his serious injury last weekend.""
- Jose Bordalas
Although Barca's priority number 1 is set to be out for more than eight months, these wishes would certainly be crucial in fastening the German's recovery process. Overall, as has FC Barcelona's dominant run in the La Liga campaign so far, the club would want to continue the same against Getafe in their home fixture.
