The Euro 2024 tournament started with 11 Blaugrana players going for the ultimate test. But, with the tournament advancing toward the semifinals, only five have progressed to the next stage. From the Barca sensation Lamine Yamal, box-to-box magician Pedri, and Barca breakout Fermin Lopez to the power back Jules Kounde, all have proven their mettle on the Euros stage.
On that note, have a look at how the Blaugrana fared for their national teams in the Quarterfinal clash between Spain and Germany:-

LAMINE YAMAL

Credit to Yamal's jaw-dropping masterclass so far at the Euros, the 16-year-old has become the talk of the town. Entering the electrifying fixture with 2 goal contributions to his name, Spain had placed high hopes on the Barca youngster.

Being the man of big moments, Yamal took the opportunity to engrave his name in the history of Spanish Barcelona. His inch-perfect pass found an onrushing Dani Olmo, who slotted it past Manuel Neuer to make it 1-0 for Spain in the 51st minute. The assist on the go-ahead goal saw Yamal becoming the only player to make three assists for Spain in an international tournament since 1966.

As Spain got past Germany in the extra time, thanks to a 119th-minute winner from Mikel Merino, they now face an unbeaten France in the Euro semifinal. Having the most assists in this tournament, Yamal would be the go-to man for Spain in the later stages of the Euro 2024.
