Hansi Flick reflects upon Barca's dominating 3-0 win against Alaves

Coming on the back of a mammoth 5-0 win against Young Boys, FC Barcelona had their spirits high, and they continued in a similar way, dominating Alaves at their home stadium. Already being aware of what a win in the fixture meant, going into the international break with winning momentum, the team looked excellent from the very start.

Having gone up a 3-0 lead within the first 31 minutes of the game, the Blaugrana club had almost the job done, with the lead allowing them to play steadily later. Most importantly, once again, with crucial efforts coming on from the players, the Blaugrana club grabbed the complete 3 points in the matchday. Barca boss Hansi Flick appreciated his players after the game, saying,

While it was a brilliant team performance overall, the superstar duo of Club Captain Raphinha and star forward Lewandowski was crucial in comforting the win. In the first two goals, Brazilian ace Raphinha set up the Polish legend beautifully, having them leading 2-0 till the 22nd minute only. Although Barca's superstar number 9, Robert Lewandowski, deservedly bagged the MOTM award for his hattrick, Raphinha was key in the club's dominating victory.

As a result, while Hansi Flick looked extremely happy for Lewa's hattrick, the manager had loads of praise for their in-form man, Raphinha. Flick mentioned in the Brazilian's praise,

Although all the players put in significant efforts in the club's 3-0 away win, probably the only worrying point for the Blaugrana club was Ferran Torres' injury suspension. Minutes into the game, the fringe star looked uncomfortable continuing further as he was subbed off for pivot Eric Garcia. Though further updates are yet to arrive on the player's injury, initial reports sound concerning, with him being estimated to be out for a few weeks.

Even after the 3-0 win, Barca boss Flick looked rather worried about Torres, considering they don't have many options in the role left. Flick remarked,
