FC Barcelona has lost their preseason fixture against AC Milan 4-3 in penalties, resulting in the first loss of the Hansi Flick era. Though Barcelona put up an incredible show against the Milan club, they couldn't hold their nerves in the end moments.

Even though Barcelona lost the fixture against AC Milan, certain positives emerged for the Blaugrana club. From Lewandowski regaining his momentum, a brilliant supporting role by Pau Victor, to the impressive duo of Marc Bernal and Marc Casado, it was an unlucky day that FC Barcelona ended with a loss.

Overall, the German manager looked quite affirmative of the fact that Barca had created enough chances, even though they were able to convert only two. Speaking of the loss, Flick said,

""When we all push hard, it means we are on the right track; we have to be braver sometimes.""

Analyzing Barcelona's overall aggressive mindset, the club has significantly acted on Flick's advice to press high throughout the game. As it seems, Flick doesn't appear much worried as he looks forward to the Joan Gamper Trophy fixture and hopes Barca wins it to enter the new campaign with positive morale.
