Hansi Flick reflects upon FC Barcelona's seventh consecutive La Liga win

FC Barcelona defeated Getafe at the Montjuic, maintaining their winning streak in La Liga. Coming into the fixture with 18 points from the first six match days, the Blaugrana club moved to 21 points with a 1-0 win against Getafe. Although a significant scoreline was expected by the Catalan club, who were on the streak of a 7-0 win, a 4-1 win, and a 5-1 win, Barca boss Flick seemed content with the 1-0 victory against Getafe.

Reflecting on the club's previous fixtures with Getafe, Flick felt proud of his unit for getting the complete 3 points in the fixture. Moreover, stressing the importance of such difficult games, Flick mentioned, 

""Matches like these are more useful to us than thrashing teams and winning by more goals. You have to analyze and improve from these matches when you suffer the most.""

In Barcelona's 1-0 victory at the Montjuic, star fullback Jules Kounde looked solid once again, being significantly crucial in impacting the final result. Apart from his defensive contributions, the Frenchman donned chances in the opposition's final third, being the assist provider to the club's only goal from the game. Flick, praising the star fullback, mentioned his importance in the club. Hansi Flick remarked, 

""Koundé also plays a right back for the national team. He's incredible; he's always 100% ready. I have never thought about changing him during matches. He's a leader.""

So far this season, every Blaugrana player, having featured for the club, has been pivotal in their brilliant run; however, the case of their injury returnee Ansu Fati has been much more peculiar. Not to forget, Flick had been praising the star winger for quite some time, but Fati has seen rare game time after his return. Featuring a few minutes in the UCL opener against Monaco, the 21-year-old has been on the sidelines for the complete last 2 games.

Flick explained the reason for not bringing him against Getafe, saying,
