FC Barcelona has been quite active recently in the summer transfer window for potential player sales. With the club on the lookout to gather funds as soon as possible to facilitate their financial struggle in the 1:1 FPP rule, Barcelona has opened possibilities for many young talents like Vitor Roque, Ansu Fati, and Mika Faye for sale.

While Vitor Roque is close to a potential Premier League move and Ansu Fati's future is still uncertain at the Blaugrana club, the club has received some positive interest for Mikayil Faye. Faye, who was a standout performer in the preseason, being one of Flick's favorites, has become a potential transfer prospect for a lot of the European clubs.

Reports had arrived that suggested Inter Milan was interested in the Senegalese power-back, Mika Faye. According to Diario SPORT, Inter has asked Barça about Mika Faye. Moreover, the deal could move towards the later stages if Inter arrives with an offer close to Barca's expectations of €15M.

Not to forget, Mika Faye had come very close to signing for Porto early this summer; however, the negotiations between the clubs couldn't work out. Even at that time, Barcelona's demand was clear: a €15M fixed fee and a €30M/€32M buyback clause with a sell-on clause in case of a future sale; thus, if Inter bids something worth €15M, Barcelona wouldn't hesitate to sell the center-back.

Analyzing from Barcelona's perspective, Faye's potential deal could not only help the Blaugrana club reach the 1:1 rule but also ease Flick's role to form his center-back duo more clearly, amongst the rest of the options, Inigo Martinez, Pau Cubarsi, Jules Kounde, and Eric Garcia. Moreover, for Faye, Inter's deal could guarantee him the playing team the center-back might have missed at the Barcelona camp.

Though further updates on Faye's Inter Milan deal are yet to arrive, Barca would hope they end up selling the defender, gathering crucial funds to ease their pathway to reach the 1:1 rule.
