Ever since FC Barcelona had begun talks for Nico Williams and Dani Olmo in the summer transfer window, it was clear that they would have to sell an important player to accommodate these signings. Even though Nico Williams' deal is still unclear at Barca, they have spent an enormous amount worth €50M to bring Dani Olmo.

The shortlist of the names that Barca had been counting upon to invoke the required funds included significant names like De Jong, Araujo, and Roque. However, Roque might have to part ways with Barcelona with the first two currently injured. Given other European clubs' enormous interest in the Brazilian forward, his profile might be best from Barca's sales perspective.

A few days ago, Mundo Deportivo reported that Andrey Cury, Vitor Roque's agent, is planning to travel to Barcelona to meet with the club, hinting at the youngster's potential departure. And it seems that Roque's departure is taking place at the Blaugrana club, as recent sources suggest that Deco had a meeting with Vitor Roque's father and his agent.

Add to that the forward's fortune, which seems to point towards the player's sale as well. Yesterday, Jijantes FC reported that Vitor Roque did not train with the team. Though he had arrived at the Sports City, Roque was feeling unwell and soon went home with permission from the doctors.

Something similar happened today as Roque was forced to go back home due to him not feeling well and having discomfort. Barça's say on the matter is that Vitor Roque is not training due to the fever and discomfort that kept him out yesterday as well. With considerable offers on the table for him and now facing misfortunes, it seems Roque is nearing his away move.

Diario SPORT reported on the Vitor Roque's saga, suggesting that the forward is expected to leave on loan and it won't be a permanent sale. Moreover, the Blaugrana club, having confidence in the player, seems to have agreed to these conditions. However, what remains to be seen among Porto, Lazio, and Napoli is which club Vitor Roque would join.

Though further updates are yet to arrive on Roque's future club, being the player's preference to continue in Europe, it seems that Vitor Roque is much closer to joining Lazio and Napoli.
