The transfer market has become a lifeless endeavor for FC Barcelona. The biggest reason is because of the club's financial condition. But, things might just change and it looks like they might even get a bit lively as Oriol Romeu has received offers from abroad.

According to Sports Digitale, Turkish club Besiktas has shown interest in Oriol Romeu. The 32-year-old midfielder arrived in Barcelona in 2023. He became a temporary solution to Busquet's departure and also proved to be a good one.

But, as time passed, his prominence has fallen to the ground. The Ulldecona native has made only 21 appearances since his return. As the midfielder loses further prominence, a move to Turkey might save lots of resources for all the parties involved.

Although Besiktas has made no formal offers, it is expected to be low. In these tough financial times, Barça won't let a player leave unless they leave a significant gap behind to register a new player or only if the club makes profit on the transfer.

In the event that the Turkish giants make a significant offer, the deal will mostly go through. If not, the Spanish midfielder will wait and watch till the end of the season. As long as Oriol is given more minutes, he'll stay or the 32-year-old might look into available offers and pack his bags.

After a rollercoaster year of 2022, Mason Greenwood was practically unemployed because of the alleged criminal charges. Luckily for the youngster, the charges were dropped and the Englishman was found not guilty.

Then came the loan to Spanish outfit Getafe where the 22-year-old is shining brightly. With 3 goals and 4 assists in 16 games, the English winger has attracted the interests of many clubs, including FC Barcelona.

According to The Sun, both the parties are interested in serving one another. Barça would like to have the Englishman, and Greenwood considers it a dream move. Manchester United, who owns the player, is also interested in selling the winger.

The Daily Mail evaluates the Barcelona transfer at more than €46 million. Mason Greenwood has become a priority target for the Catalan giants but for the next season. The move will probably not take place until the next transfer window.
