While it has been much of a combined effort so far, with all the players performing their level best, Barca prodigy Lamine Yamal's brilliance has been simply sensational.

So far this season, having 10 goal contributions in 11 appearances for the club, Yamal has been key to the club's masterclass display on the front. Pairing up alongside seasoned star Club Captain Raphinha and veteran forward Lewandowski, the trio has emerged as the best frontline in European football this season. However, apart from talent, what has been the 17-year-old prodigy's biggest strength has been his hunger to contribute to his team.

In the club's recent outing against Deportivo Alaves, one such instance was witnessed, as the player looked unhappy on being subbed off. While it has not been the first instant, as something similar happened when Flick had taken him out against Young Boys, this time it gathered much limelight as the player wasn't able to contribute much on the field.

So far this season, it has been rare that the player hasn't been directly involved in the club's scoreline, and it being the case against Alaves, he looked much off after being substituted. Recent reports from Diario SPORT indicate that Flick subbing him off was to rest him, given the player is likely to start both matches for Spain during the international break.

But it seems that Lamine Yamal currently fails to understand that, with him wanting to play every minute of football action. While reports do claim that by playing several games, he has now become more used to top division football, where he earlier struggled to play the full 90 minutes during matches, Yamal needs to understand that Flick and the staff are resting him for his best.

Overall, given the stature he holds for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, it would be helpful for Yamal if he realized that resting in the end minutes is beneficial for him. Meanwhile, Barca fans would hope that the player remains injury-free, as he has been having intense game time going forward.
