Barcelona may be on the brink of domestic glory, just one win away from sealing the title, but off the pitch, uncertainty continues to swirl around one of their most important players.

It feels like a familiar story with Raphinha. Year after year, the Brazilian’s strong performances attract interest from some of the wealthiest clubs, all eager to make him their next marquee signing. According to SPORT, the winger has now entered a period of reflection over his future, openly sharing his thoughts with the club in what have been described as honest and transparent discussions.

Can he perform to the levels we see consistently, after this season has been hampered by muscle injuries that may indicate the intensity of the club, La Liga and Champions League football is having on the body.

It is believed the Barcelona ambitions remain a great motivation for Raphinha, however his difficult campaign shaped by injuries and coming to the age of 30 may feel like he can earn more money elsewhere, and there is only one place that can happen.

Saudi clubs are coming

Clubs from the Saudi Pro League, most notably Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr, are preparing a major financial push to sign Raphinha. The deal could be worth up to €90 million, with a staggering annual salary of around €30 million on offer.

Interest from Saudi Arabia is both genuine and financially powerful. According to reports, at least two clubs are prepared to meet Barcelona’s asking price while offering Raphinha a salary close to three times his current earnings in Spain. His value should be more than the reported €90 million , with €110-120 million more likely to represent his value to the club.

Ultimately, the coming months will be decisive. Raphinha’s internal reflections, combined with external interest, have created a delicate balancing act for Barcelona. Whether he chooses to stay and reaffirm his role in the project or becomes the latest high-profile departure to Saudi Arabia, his decision could shape not only his own career, but also the direction of the club’s next phase.

Let's hope we see our number 10 continue at the club
