Who has left Barcelona in this summer transfer window?

Much has been made of the transfer saga surrounding Nico Williams and other high-profile names linked with Barcelona. However, behind the scenes, the club has been quietly working to trim the wage bill and create opportunities elsewhere for emerging talent from La Masia. So, who has left the club so far this summer?

Barcelona have once again been operating under strict financial constraints, with La Liga enforcing a "sell before you buy" policy that has shaped much of the club’s recent transfer activity. As a result, several players have already departed during the early weeks of the summer window, either to free up wage space or generate much-needed transfer income.

So far, the biggest names in the squad have remained at the club, but that stability may not last. With the financial picture still tight and new signings needed to strengthen key areas, there is a growing sense that further sales could be on the horizon. The final weeks of the transfer window often bring late offers and unexpected moves, and Barcelona may be forced to listen if sizable bids come in for valuable assets.

Whether it's fringe players making way or surprise departures involving more established stars, the pressure to balance the books remains ever-present. For Barcelona, the coming months will be a delicate balancing act, maintaining competitiveness on the pitch while navigating the realities of their financial situation off it.

Here are the selected players that have departed the club so far:

Clement Lenglet - The defender spent last season on loan at Atlético Madrid, and a mutual agreement to terminate his contract has now paved the way for him to join Barcelona’s rivals on a three-year deal. During his time at Camp Nou, he made 160 appearances in a Barcelona shirt, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. His spell with the club was marked by silverware, including a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey triumph, and a Spanish Super Cup victory.

Ansu Fati - After signing a contract extension with Barcelona, the winger was immediately loaned out to AS Monaco, where he joins the likes of Paul Pogba as the Ligue 1 side aims to mount a serious challenge both domestically and in Europe. The deal includes an option to buy, giving Monaco flexibility should the player impress. For the winger, it's a chance to reboot his career after a promising trajectory was repeatedly disrupted by injuries.

Alex Valle - The full-back was loaned to Serie A newcomers Como 1907, who have now activated their €6 million buyout option to sign the Spaniard on a permanent deal. He joins forces with Cesc Fàbregas, who is part of the club's coaching setup, and begins a new chapter in the picturesque surroundings of northern Italy.

Pablo Torre - The young talent has completed a move to Real Mallorca in a deal worth €5 million, with Barcelona securing a 50% sell-on clause as part of the agreement. The Spain U-21 international now has the chance to establish himself in La Liga with regular first-team football, and the storylines have already begun, as he’s set to face his former club on the opening weekend of the season.

Pau Prim - Tipped as a future successor to Sergio Busquets, the promising youngster has joined Qatari side Al-Sadd after a stalled spell at Barcelona — a fresh start at the club once managed by Xavi.

Arnau Pradas - Another promising youngster has opted for first-team football in the Middle East over biding his time in Europe. The winger has signed with Al-Wahda, aiming to make his mark in the UAE and reignite interest from European clubs with consistent performances.

Noah Darvich - The German has returned to his homeland, joining VfB Stuttgart after two years with Barcelona. During his time at the Catalan club, he made 46 appearances for Barça Atlètic, scoring once last season. He reportedly makes the move for a fee just shy of €1 million.

Sergi Dominguez - Barcelona and Dinamo Zagreb have agreed a deal for the defender, with a percentage of any future transfer fee set to return to the Catalan club. The move comes as a surprise, given he made six appearances under Hansi Flick, including games in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.
