The Swedish marksman was signed from Inter for a fee of €69.5 million plus Samuel Eto’o. He provided a good return of 16 goals in 29 matches but was a financial disaster. He switched to the San Siro in 2011 for a fee of €24 million, thus handing Barca a mammoth loss of €44.5 million.
Other than that, he caused disruption in the club by trying to steal the spotlight from Lionel Messi and also by feuding with coach Pep Guardiola often.
