7. Hristo Stoichkov

Barcelona signed Hristo Stoichkov from CSKA Sofia in the summer of 1990 for €3 million. The Bulgarian was part of Johan Cruyff’s ‘Dream Team’. He led the line along Romario and was an integral member of the squad.

But he stayed at the club longer than any member of the ‘Dream Team’, scoring 77 goals in 149 appearances. Stoichkov won 14 titles at the Camp Nou in 7 seasons (two spells). Stoichkov was the original ‘El Pistolero’, before this man took it away from him.
