Barcelona are panicking with just 2 weeks of the transfer window left

Gerard Deulofeu is not a replacement for Neymar. He is neither as good as Neymar, nor does he have the pace to make up for it. He clearly showed in his second Barcelona debut. The club management is panicking.

The issue of Neymar’s replacement is starting to become a crisis. But a solution is not in sight. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona recently bid for Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne. While Insigne is turning out to be one of the best wingers in the world, he is not Barcelona material yet.

Barcelona targeting Insigne is a clear indication of the situation at the club. There is no clear transfer plan, and it is showing in every move the club makes in he transfer market. The signing of Paulinho showed that and this is reaffirming that fact.

But nonetheless, Insigne would not be a bad addition to the squad. Taking into consideration the state of negotiations with Liverpool and Dortmund over Coutinho and Dembele, Insigne would be a decent signing. But unfortunately, Napoli have rejected the €60 million bid.

Therefore, Barcelona need to get on with the negotiations on the Anfield and Signal Iduna Park front.

Ousmane Dembele clears out his house in Dortmund

According to Bild, Ousmane Dembele has moved out of his house in Dortmund. His club has indefinitely suspended after he failed to show up for training. This came at a time when reports had emerged that Dortmund had accepted a €100 million fee for the Frenchman.

This development also comes at an interesting time. After the unveiling of Paulinho, Robert Fernandez took questions from the press.
