As the Camp Nou just turned 60, we list the top 5 games played in this magnificent stadium

Camp Nou hosted its first game on 24th September, 1957 with 90,000 spectators. But neither the club nor the fans that it would become the seat of Catalan football in the future. Then, it was thought of to be a tribute to new signing László Kubala.

But since then, it has hosted some of the world’s finest sporting events. It acted as the venue of the opening ceremony of the 1982 World Cup. But it has hosted some matches in the last couple of decades that will remain etched in footballing history forever.
