5. Barcelona 4-0 AC Milan (2012-13 Champions League)

Barcelona faced AC Milan in what was a poor match-up. Milan had been going through a phase of decline, and Barcelona were expected to breeze through the tie. But Milan surprised interim coach Jordi Roura in the first leg. They defended brilliantly, and tiki-taka couldn’t break their defence.

But Milan took the lead through a Kevin-Prince Boateng free-kick. To rub salt on Barca’s wound, Sulley Muntari blasted in a volley in the 81st minute. But the second leg at the Camp Nou was a match to remember.

In the first half, Lionel Messi finished off a terrific team goal in the 5th minute. There was no looking back from that point onwards. Barcelona used tiki-taka to perfection as Messi scored yet again from a Iniesta assist.

In the second half, Barcelona continued the breathtaking performance, and pumped in two more goals to close a historic comeback. The excited Camp Nou crowd motivated the players and they led the club to an emphatic 4-0 victory.
