2. Barcelona 5-0 Real Madrid (2010-11 La Liga)

This historic tie was the last in a streak of 5 El Clásico wins for Barcelona, stretching for over 2 seasons. But Barcelona ensured that it would always be remembered.

Pep’s men started off the goal bonanza in the 9th minute with a Xavi strike. Barca extended the lead through a beautifully engineered goal by Pedro in the 18th minute. In the second half, David Villa scored a quickfire brace to make the lead unassailable.

But the most embarrassing part for Real Madrid was the goal scored by Jeffrén. Jeffrén was one of Barca’s worst performers that season, and ‘Los Blancos’ conceded to him. The match ended in a 5-0 drubbing.

But it is also remembered because it is the highest margin of victory Barcelona have had over Real Madrid. Most Real fans recall that game with a bad taste in their mouth.
