André Gomes is on his way out of the Camp Nou

Ever since the management sanctioned the signing of André Gomes and Denis Suárez, the midfield has been overcrowded. Earlier, it was just Rafinha, Arda Turan and Sergi Roberto backing up the starting trio of Andrés Iniesta, Ivan Rakitić and Sergio Busquets.
Denis Suárez has performed well when the manager has awarded him opportunities, but that has not been the case for André Gomes. And what is more disappointing is that Gomes has got more opportunities than Denis.
Last summer, he was close to joining Tottenham on loan. But the deal fell through after the club failed to sign Philippe Coutinho on deadline day. In January, Barcelona finally got their man, but there was no interest in André Gomes.

Now, as the summer of 2018 approaches, his career at the Camp Nou is looking over. The Portuguese playmaker is simply a misfit for Barcelona, and his talent would be wasted playing under Ernesto Valverde.
He will have a lot of suitors in the summer. André Gomes is a Portuguese international with a lot of potential, and his playing style is suited to the Premier League. He is courted by a lot of top clubs, including Tottenham, Manchester United and Juventus.

Juventus are looking to add a new midfielder to their ranks, considering that Claudio Marchisio is ageing. On the other hand, José Mourinho is looking for a backup to the likes of Paul Pogba. Tottenham still retain interest in Gomes, but are likely to lose out to United or Juventus.
