1. Giovanni van Bronckhorst

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is one of the most highly decorated Dutch players of the 21st century, and is now turning out to be a very good manager. The midfielder-turned-left-back spent 4 years at Barcelona under compatriot Frank Rijkaard, winning the Champions League in the process.

He also played for Arsenal and Feyenoord. After retiring, he took up the role of assistant manager of the Netherlands U-21 side, working under current Fenerbahçe assistant coach Cor Pot before joining former club Feyenoord in the same capacity.

Van Bronckhorst worked under experienced managers Ronald Koeman and Fred Rutten at the de Kuip before being promoted to the position of head coach. He has won 5 titles with Feyenoord, and led the club to a first Eredivisie championship in 17 years.

It is clear that Giovanni van Bronckhorst is a very good manager, being responsible for bringing the best out of veteran forward and former teammate Robin van Persie and awarding opportunities to talented youngsters like Jerry St. Juste, Tonny Vilhena and Sven van Beek.

He could turn out to be a great success at the Camp Nou, and is a viable option to replace Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona.
