Barcelona’s star youngster Riqui Puig knows that he must be patient in order to be successful with the Catalonia club.
Riqui Puig is finding it difficult to move up to the first team as the Barcelona midfield is currently packed with big names, with the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Arthuro Vidal and Arthur Melo finding it difficult to find minutes themselves.

Barça’s director of youth football, Patrick Kluivert, has recently told Sport that the best option for the youngster is a loan move in January.
The young prospect, however, has made it clear that he wants to remain at Barca and is prepared to be patient in order to push for the first team.

Riqui has claimed that he has been inspired by club legends, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, and looks up to them,

The Spaniard has stated the two reasons that make him want to remain at Barca instead of looking for options elsewhere,

Puig, on Tuesday, won an award for the “Player with the Most Potential” by the Catalan FA. There is no doubt that the midfielder has immense potential to be the next superstar at the Camp Nou but only time will tell if he will be given the chance to showcase it with the first team.
