Barcelona joins Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City for the hunt of Fenerbahce’s Turkish wonder-kid Omer Beyaz.

Fotospor reports that Manchester City and Manchester United are part of the many European giants chasing the young Turkish star; meanwhile, Daily Mail also claims that Inter Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are all among the interested parties as well.

More from Everything Barca

Omer Beyaz has a contract with Fenerbahce running until June 2021,  and the club, which had recently lost a talented prospect, Merih Demiral, in 2016, hopes to not lose another one now. Portuguese club, AC Alcanenense, acquired Demiral in 2016, who has since moved to Juventus.

Omer is said to be an upcoming talent and though he awaits his opportunity to play for the first team, he has been impressive for the club’s academy. The 16-year-old attacker has made14 appearances for the youth team at Fenerbahce, where he managed to score two goals.

The Turkish international is quick when moving the ball around while having good positioning in the attacking half. Beyaz, at mere 16 years of age, has managed to be called up for 2 first-team matches against Konyaspor and Denizlispor, however, he could not manage any minutes.

United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on adding some youth to his squad, proving this intention with his recent signings of Bruno Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James. Thus, United are also looking to sign Birmingham’s 16-year-old Jude Bellingham, valued around  £30 million.

Meanwhile, Inter are known to be on the lookout for the next big talent as they have not been shying away from putting their trust in the youth, as has been evident with Sebastiano Esposito.

With Barcelona’s massive summer transfer plans, it remains to be seen if they could afford to chase after the Turkish wonderkid with intentions of signing the ‘next Iniesta’ at Chelsea.
