Barcelona are struggling financially as their massive summer transfer plans cannot be sustained without equivalent sales, to support the club’s game plan.

Barcelona are planning to bring back their former star, Neymar Jr., a deal that would surely cost the Catalans somewhere around $160 million, a value unaffordable for the Spaniards as they look to make many more deals in the summer.

Reports claim that Manchester United will be the ones to help Blaugrana secure the Brazilian international as they continue to pursue their interest in Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman made a move to the Nou Camp for $126 million last summer but has failed to replicate his Atletico Madrid success.

Ok Diario reports that Barca manager, Quique Setien, looks to make a sale for the Frenchman for around $110 million, which would help finance Neymar’s return. With the Paris Saint-Germain’s superstar’s return slowly inching towards reality, many have speculated the inevitable offload of Griezmann, who shares the same position.

United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is desperate to sign a new striker as they look to replace Romelu Lukaku, who has had an impressive season alongside Lautaro Martinez since his move to Inter Milan.

The Premier League side have been interested in the former Atletico Madrid forward since 2017 and Barca’s openness to discuss a possible sale for Antoine has reignited this interest.

Philippe Coutinho is another player Barca would look to offload this summer with Chelsea and Manchester United sharing an interest in the struggling midfielder; however, both the Premier League giants have also insisted that the deal would only be of a loan deal as they find the Brazilian’s buy-out clause to be excessively high.
