Barcelona insider reveals the solution to Neymar’s transfer while claiming the club’s interest in the Brazilian is ‘Real’.

Former Barcelona vice President, Emili Rousaud, claims that the Catalans have real intentions of reuniting with the Paris Saint-Germain star this summer. however, all three parties involved must reach an agreement for the transfer to be finalized.

"“The interest is real, but it’s complex,” Rousand said."

Rousaud was one of the six directors at Barca who handed in their resignation last week, but has since given an interview with French publication, L’Equipe, revealing Barca’s pursuit of the former superstar.

"“Barcelona do wish to bring back Neymar, that’s true. We will have to see if the operation fits in with the club’s finances.” He said."

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic will certainly hinder the massive squad overhaul planned by President Josep Maria Bartomeu.

"“Coronavirus will bring about deflation in the market and the majority of clubs will have financial difficulties."

Despite this, Rousaud believes Neymar’s return is possible. Neymar left the Catalans for PSG back in 2017 in a record-breaking deal costing the Parisiens £200m (€222m). The Barca-Neymar reunion has been the talk of the town ever since.

Blaugrana did attempt to sign the Brazilian last summer but failed to reach any agreements with the Ligue 1 side. Rousand insists that the club remain focused on reuniting the MSN once again, however, a deal will require an agreement reached between all parties.

"“There are three parties involved: Barcelona, PSG and Neymar. If the three look for an agreement, they will find a solution. Paying in instalments, for example.”"

The 28-year-old has two years left in his existing contract and having already openly showcased his desires to return to the Nou Camp, could finally force a move away from Le Parc des Princes.

PSG, however, have launched a stunning contract extension deal for Neymar that would last until 2025, worth £33 million a year, in an attempt to demotivate Barca’s interest.
