Rafinha Alcantara has struggled to shine ever since his knee injury in 2018. He signed a contract renewal until 2021 in order to secure a loan deal away to Celta de Vigo. Despite struggling with Celta, many Premier League and Serie A sides are interested in the 27-year-old midfielder.

Carles Alena is another midfielder that hoped to feature for the first-team alongside Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong. His loan deal with Real Betis was supposed to be an opportunity for the 22-year-old to showcase his talent but the ongoing coronavirus crisis lost the Spaniard this opportunity.

Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move away from Barca as both parties have displayed their willingness to go their separate ways. Bayern Munich turning down the option to permanently sign the Brazilian has caused the Barca board to reevaluate Coutinho’s future. Setien has, however, claimed to be willing to include the 27-year-old in his plans.

Oriol Busquets is a wanted man in Europe with many Bundesliga and Spanish sides showing interest in the talented midfielder. Before the suspension of football, Oriol was using his loan opportunity with Twente to impress the Barca board enough to give him a chance in Setien’s XI.

Moussa Wague is currently loaned to the French side, Nice, and is among the Barca youth that hopes to feature for the first team. In his 5 matches with Ligue 1 side this season, Moussa managed two assists, showcasing both offensive and defensive capabilities.
