Manchester City

Between the two Portuguese right-backs, Manchester City boss and former Barca coach, Pep Guardiola feels that Joao Cancelo is the better alternative. The two footballers fight for their spot on the national team and soon might find themselves being exchanged as a result of the current market. Footballing fans find it difficult to decide which of these talented right-backs reign supreme over the other but the previously stated deal between Barca and Inter for the signing of Lautaro Martinez has an implication on both. As the exchange deals are the method of transfer in the next window, the Catalan giants may use their relationship with Pep and Manchester City to ensure that the mega joint deal goes through in order to secure Martinez.

Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich midfielder, Joshua Kimmich, has been heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou. The 25-year-old is versatile in nature and is often seen playing as a right-back, and with French international, Benjamin Pavard, being rumored to take over Kimmich’s role permanently, the Nou Camp opens up a rare and exciting challenge for the German international.

It remains to be seen which of these deals come through as Barca have multiple advantages with each of these clubs but they must find the best option while sustaining the least loss.
