Transfer expert, Duncan Castles, revealed on The Transfer Window’s latest Podcast that both Messi and Suarez are desiring the return of Neymar and have made it clear to Barca that they want the Brazilian to be signed this summer.

"“There’s pressure on them [Barca] to sign Neymar internally. In the camp, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez would like to see him come back. They pushed for that move last summer,” Duncan revealed.Source IBTimes"

Neymar has been vocal about his ambitions to join Camp Nou this summer with recent reports confirming that the former Santos forward has revealed to his current teammates that he wants to leave.

PSG, however, have demanded an expensive transfer fee for the Brazilian international with Barca looking to offer players in exchange as they do not have funds to make cash transfers this summer with Lautaro Martinez’s deal with Inter Milan already taking most of the available sum.

IBTimes have reported that the French giants have demanded roughly 170 million euros for his release which is slightly above the amount, 164 million euros, quoted by Real Madrid president’s advisor Wagner Ribeiro. Florentino Perez had asked his advisor to calculate the amount a club would need to pay if Neymar approached FIFA to set his release clause as he only has 2 years remaining in his current contract.

It remains to be seen if the Parisiens accept any Barca players in exchange as the demanded amount is not going to be affordable for the Catalans.
