AC Milan are planning to sign multiple youth reinforcements in the next transfer window in order to reconstruct the squad for the future, to relive the once glorious days of this historic club. The current technical director and club legend, Paulo Maldini, has identified one such youngster who has attracted many admirers.
The ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano revealed in Calciomercato that the fellow Italian side, Juventus, are planning to raid the Milan transfer. Hertha Berlin’s Lazar Samardzic has been named the perfect youth attacker by both sides, and they are ready to battle it out for the German international.
Maldini has already met the 18-year-old in order to make him sign his first professional contract with the Bianconceri but the youngster has been reluctant to leave his home country.
What About Barcelona?
Barcelona have also been interested in the midfielder as his technique and quality could be a great addition to a struggling Catalan side. While it is true that players such as Neymar are been linked with a move to Camp Nou and that the club have already signed players for a similar position like Pedri and Francisco Trincao, Samardzic is still being considered a cheaper alternative to the more expensive and acclaimed superstars.
Hertha Berlin and the teenager have the choice to pick the club of their liking but it remains to be seen whether the German international wishes to leave Bundesliga at all.
Should Barca sign the talented youngster?
