Barcelona could be managed by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in 2021.

Barcelona presidential candidate, Jordi Farre, claims that the club needs a coach like Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, and has already contacted him regarding his potential arrival at the Nou Camp.

The Catalan side are currently ungoing a massive restructuring project after sacking coach Quiuqe Setien for former player, Ronald Koeman. Sporting Director, Eric Abidal, has also been sacked and replaced by his assistant, Ramon Planes.

Both Planes and Koeman are looking to get rid of multiple aging footballers and veterans like Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, with Lionel Messi also reportedly wanting to leave this year.

The Argentine beleives that the current management lead by president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, is incapable of improving the squad and making it into a competitive one. The 33-year-old wishes to spend his remaning years with a team capable of winning the Champions League.

While Bartomeu is up for elections next year, he has refused to resign from his role with multiple presidential candidates wanting to take over immediately.

One such hopeful is Farre who has recently revealed his surprising choice in manager to lead the squad. The 44-year-old has picked current Liverpool manager as his ideal leader. The Spaniard claims that he would love to continue with Koeman if the Dutch international proves himself but has contacted the German manager regarding a possible move to La Liga.

"“If Koeman works and does well, he would be, of course. Obviously, we have our roadmap and we had already started several conversations with Jurgen Klopp, because it seems to us that Barca need such a coach.”Source Goal via Diario Sport."

It remains to be seen whether Klopp desires to take over a chaotic Barca who are heading towards uncertain times especially since the departure of multiple veterans wil mark a new era at the Camp Nou.
