Lionel Messi wants to leave Barcelona amidst Manchester City interest.

After Barcelona recieved confirmation from Lionel Messi regarding his desire to leave this season, Manchester City are exploring every possibility.

The Premier League side are studying the possibility of Messi’s arrival this season without breaking any FFP regulations, depending on Barca agreeding to significantly lower the current 631 million pound release clause.

It remains to be seen if Barca demand any fees at all due to the nature of their relationship with the club legend. They might allow the captain to leave without causing any hassles as a sign of respect for everything he has done for Blaugrana.
