Lautaro Martinez’s agents seen in Barcelona leaves Inter Milan unhappy
Inter Milan are unhappy to find Lautaro Martinez’s agents in Barcelona.
Lautaro Martinez’s transfer links to Camp Nou are still ongoing as the Argentine’s agents were seen in Barcelona. This is obviously a huge blow for Inter Milan who were hoping to keep hold of their star player ahead of the next season. The striker had been liked with the Spanish side for a few months but the sudden interest in Memphis Depay and Inter’s stubbornness made everyone think that Martinez was destined to play the next few seasons at Italy, however, after recent developments, things may not favor the Italian side and the Catalans can potentially secure an amazing striker.

Ronald Koeman is desperate for a new striker as he has already let Luis Suarez know that his services will no longer be required. The Argentine striker was liked with the Catalan side from before Koeman’s arrival and thus sticking with that target seemed like a viable option. On top of that, the striker had a brilliant season with Internazionale and was very unlucky to have missed pout on European glory after the Milan side lost against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League finals.
Martinez is a conventional striker whose only role is to play upfront and put the ball in the back of the net and he is proving to be one of the best at it. Scoring 21 goals last season, no one can doubt his abilities as a potent goal scorer. Even his fellow countryman Lionel Messi once complimented his skills on an interview and said that he would love to have Martinez at Barcelona.
Things are looking quite bleak for Inter Milan currently as they have failed to extend the goal poacher’s contract and the transfer window will stay open till the 6th of October so there is plenty of time for the Catalan side to negotiate with the player. Should Inter manage to persuade Martinez to stay, however, Koeman does have a back up in mind who goes by the name of Memphis Depay. Although Depay is not a conventional striker, he can play as a center-forward and already has experience of playing under the Dutch manager during his time with the national team.
Will Lautaro’s arrival bolster the current Barca squad?
