Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United superstar.

According to reports from the Mundo Deportivo, Paul Pogba might be the new big Barcelona target for next season when they are ready to splash the cash in order to propel themselves back into the status of Europe’s elites.

The French midfielder was hoping for a move to Real Madrid and admitted it was his dream to play for them, however, he will also be open to a move to their arch-rivals should they show some interest.

The French superstar joined Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 for an eye-watering price tag of 90 million pounds, breaking the record for the most expensive transfer fee.

His time with the Red Devils, however, was not as glamorous as he would have liked it. He did experience some glory with the Europa League victory and League cup wins however, most of his time back with United has been a bit underwhelming.

His biggest moment came in the 2018 FIFA World Cup when he won the prestigious tournament with France.

The 27-year-old was also approached by Barcelona in the summer of 2018 but their ridiculous offer of £17million plus Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina was swiftly rejected. The World Cup winner went on to sign a contract extension amidst talks of Real Madrid.

Pogba’s current contract runs till June of 2021 and the Catalans could go on to pick him up as a free agent should he decide not to extend his contract. Barca should be aware of his high wages though as he is currently earning 300,000 pounds a week and thus the Spanish giants will need to make some financial adjustments to accommodate this huge move.
