Barcelona needs a number nine as they cannot expect Martin Braithwaite to bring in goals consistently and while Depay is also not a traditional striker, he played as a number nine under Koeman in the Dutch national team. The 26-year-old is available for free at the end of the season but due to interest from Paris Saint-Germain, it will be best for Barcelona to pick him up in January. The player is valued at around 5 million euros which the Catalans can afford.
