Eric Garcia, who is a La Masia graduate is looking to come back to Barcelona after a rather unspectacular spell at Manchester City. The 20-year-old Spanish center went to the English side in hopes of getting more playing time under Pep Guardiola. However, that plan did not work out quite so well and he has only appeared for the senior team 30 times.

With the Catalans in need of some new, fresh talent at the back to replace Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique, Garcia seemed like the perfect player. He is young, has good game sense, and is an academy graduate of Barcelona. City did not let the homesick player leave in the last transfer season and Pep is trying to convince him to stay however, his heart is set on returning home. According to reports, the Catalans have already discussed personal terms with him and he will join them at the end of the season.
