#2 Ansu Fati (Age: 18 | Barcelona contract: Jun 30, 2022)

Ansu Fati is probably the most hyped youngster at Barcelona at the moment. The 18-year-old Spaniard was an absolute sensation at the start of the season but he, unfortunately, suffered a Meniscal Laceration and has been out of the team since November.

Barcelona have claimed that they can automatically extend the player’s deal from 2022 to 2024 but Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes, claims that it is illegal to do so. This could be a problem for the club but if Joan Laporta is elected, the problem should be resolved as Laporta is a good friend of Mendes.
