Former coach shares his opinion on recent arrests made in Barcelona

In a recent press conference the current Manchester City manager expressed his views on the current events that have surrounded the Catalan kings. The club is already going through a transition and a financial crisis, the last thing they need was a controversy to sidetrack them from their performance on the pitch. Guardiola told reporters,

"“It’s an uncomfortable situation but I hope it will finish well. He’s already innocent until the court proves he is guilty.”“Only I’m concerned is that in one week we’ll have a new president,”“It’s a difficult situation at Barcelona but the new man needs to have the courage to lead in the next years. As many people as possible can vote and lead the best club in the world.”Source Goal"

The sextuplet winning coach went on to say that he has full faith in the club and he believes that the best club in the world will manage to overturn this situation and be back at the top in no time. Guardiola himself had an illustrious career with the Catalans as a manager and even as a player. His 2009-10 campaign with Barcelona is especially memorable.

Times are tough for the Blaugrana  however, they are a tough team as well. The club has immense history and legacy, and the players and board will make sure that the club survives this situation. We must wait and see the new president’s philosophy as that might save the club, till then all we can hope for is consistent results on the pitch.
