The Bundesliga giants are aware they won’t be able to hold on to the youngster past this summer and he is estimated to cost a whopping 100 million pounds. The bidding war for the talented 20-year-old will definitely be one to watch out for with so many clubs vying for the future superstar.
Real Madrid’s priority summer signing remains Kylian Mbappe but with the obstacles facing them from Paris Saint-Germain, Haaland is a wonderful second choice. Reportedly, the main obstacle Madrid will face will be Pep Guardiola’s City, who are actively looking at the forward as a permanent replacement for the aging Sergio Aguero.
Barcelona now face serious competition from the men in black and white. Since the departure of Luis Suarez, Barca have lacked a proper no. 9 and Haaland could be an excellent fit with the Blaugranas.
However, with the financial difficulties plaguing the club and the new president, Joan Laporta, just being elected, the steep asking price for the young Norwegian might not be feasible for the Catalans.
Meanwhile, they also face competition from Premier League giants Manchester United who will be looking at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to convince Haaland as a fellow Norwegian. Only summer will tell in whose favor the scales tip.
Would Haaland be a good fit at the Nou Camp?
