Barcelona are one of the clubs that were not expected to make a lot of noise in this transfer window. Their financial turmoil along with their number of unused players meant that the Catalans were supposed to reduce their squad instead of increasing it. However, Joan Laporta is a man of his word, and he did promise Ronald Koeman with reinforcements.
