Barcelona to register signings in time for season opener
Barcelona open the start of the new season at home against Real Sociedad
After a week of bad news Barcelona finally get some reprieve as by the skin of their teeth, the club should be able to count on both Memphis Depay and Eric García in time for the season opener.
According to Diario Sport, the Catalans will be able to register Depay and Garcia with LaLiga by Saturday meaning they will be available for Ronald Koeman in time for the match against Real Sociedad.

There was serious doubt as to whether or not the club would be able to register them as Barça are still in the process of trying to reduce the wage bill.
New right-back Emerson Royal will also be available for the match and was already registered as he was always considered a Barcelona player who was simply out on loan with Real Betis.
As for Sergio Agüero, the Argentinian striker is currently out of action and is set to miss 10 weeks. Barça are in no hurry to register him as he is unlikely to be ready until November. Because he arrived on a free, they should be able to include him down the line without any problems.
All of this is good news for Koeman who had asked for more signings — one in midfield and another striker to cover the temporary loss of Agüero. However, because of Barça’s financial situation, he was told there was no money for any more signings.
At the very least, he will have Memphis at his disposal. The Dutchman, alongside Antoine Griezmann, has become one of the new hopes for Barcelona supporters and someone who has the ability to pick up some of the slack left behind Lionel Messi.
No one expects Memphis to replicate the numbers put up by the former Barcelona superstar but are hopeful he can make the loss and impact feel less obvious.
