Barcelona: Xavi not worried about rumours of Haaland joining Real Madrid

It is long known that Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two biggest clubs in Spain and in the world. They are the two titans of the footballing world and the El Classico is the biggest non-regional derby in the world. The two clubs are always competing with each other however, they have different ways of growing their clubs. While Madrid has been more on the buying side of the spectrum, Barca has been more organic. However, in the new age of footballing, buying talents is no longer an option and every big team need to buy talented players in order to compete with the best of the best.

According to reports around the world, RMA has already spoken to Kylian Mbappe and are very close to signing him for free next season. The French superstar himself has said that his future is ambiguous at the moment but it does not seem like he will sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain. Madrid has locked in this generational star and to counter that, Barca is trying to go for Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker is considered one of the best in the world but it will be tough for them to acquire him,

Now according to new reports, Madrid is planning on hijacking the Haaland move and getting both Mbappe and Haaland. This is a huge blow for the Catalans, as they cannot compete with the Los Blancos financially. However, Xavi Hernandez is not worried about these transfer rumours and he said,

The Blaugrana have finally started to perform like their old selves again and they are going to be a serious challenger for the La Liga next season. However, if Madrid manages to make another Galacticos type team, then things will get very dangerous.
