Barcelona legend and current Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi, was in the news this week due to him apparently being upset with his current situation. The mercurial superstar, often regarded as the best player in the world, has not managed to fit in with the club and has not been performing nearly as well as we expect him to perform. Messi’s transfer to PSG shocked the world and he was supposed to be the player who would finally win the UEFA Champions League for the Paris team. However, he failed to have much of an impact but new reports suggest that he is willing to fight it out at PSG.

Last week according to many reports, Messi’s father and his agent, Jorge Messi, was trying to contact Barca in order to move him back to the Catalan side. Barcelona was always Messi’s home and many fans thought that his poor performance at PSG was due to the fact that he was not mentally prepared for the move to his new club. Even though the French giants made a super team of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, they failed to get past the Round of 16 in the Champions League. This made a lot of PSG ultras turn their back on Messi and there were jeers all around the stadium pointed at the Argentine and Neymar.

Lionel Messi is not happy at PSG but a move to Barcelona does not seem possible

This was thought to be the reason why the mercurial superstar wanted a move back to his former club however, a new report from Barca enthusiast, Reshad Rehman, claims that Messi will try to change things at PSG. The report says that the greatest of all time is not happy at the club and his performance surely shows that. However, he is committed to his contract and will try to change things as soon as possible.
