Barcelona is officially back after giving Real Madrid a 4-0 thumping. The league leaders remain as the title favourites but this was a real statement made by the Catalans to show the world that they are no longer down and they will come for every trophy available next season. The Madridistas, who won their last five games against the Catalans, were thoroughly shocked and this was a much-needed win for Barca. However, the one player who is back with a vengeance unlike any other is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The former Arsenal captain is in unstoppable form at the moment and not even the league leaders could stop him.

Barcelona forward had a special celebration ready after his second goal

The former Gunners striker has scored nine goals in all competitions for the club already and seven of them have been in the La Liga. He is one of the main reasons why the Catalans are doing so well. When Messi left, Memphis Depay was supposed to be the goal-scoring figure however, the Dutch player could not fill in Messi’s boots and the responsibility fell to Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker scored two against Madrid and gave a special celebration to the fans. When asked whether his celebration referred to DBZ, he said,

"“Yes of course, exactly, Dragon Ball Z,”“I had one wish, it was to simply win here. I thought a lot about my family, a lot about my grandparents who are no longer with us, but here, I’m happy to have scored for them today.”_Goal via BeIN Sports"

The pose that Aubameyang struck was similar to Goku’s instant transmission which allows the character to teleport anywhere instantly. Maybe the player wanted to be with his family and his loved ones who have passed away and that is why he did that celebration. It was a touching move hopefully the player will continue scoring such frequent goals for Barcelona.
