Barcelona is a team with a lot of potential at the moment. They have a lot of young players and they are planning on bringing in new and experienced players to play alongside their young talents. However, the main problem that is plaguing the club is the money situation. Financially, the club is not in a very good spot and that leaves them with very little room to negotiate new contracts with existing players. On top of bringing world-class players into the team, they also have to pay a fair salary and that is looking like a task too tough to handle.

They already failed to sign Lionel Messi at the start of this season and now it has been confirmed that even Ousmane Dembele could leave the club due to insufficient wages. Players want a secure future and thus money is an important factor however, right now the club just does not have enough to satisfy everyone. New reports Marca suggests that two more players, Ronald Araujo and Gavi might leave the club as well since they are not happy with the contracts that are being offered to them. These are not their first offers either and this makes the problem a bit serious.

Barcelona fear losing two of their best youngster at the end of next season

Now in all fairness, both the players have Barca contracts till June of 2023 however, the Catalans need to fix this situation quickly and secure these young stars. According to the reports, the main problem is that the club is offering them a decent salary but they are offering new recruits, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie much more. That made the two players reconsider their contracts as well and with interests from other teams looming in, Barca cannot take too much of a gamble. Manchester United is interested in Araujo while it was reported that Chelsea was taking a look at Gavi.
