FC Barcelona's 2024/25 campaign has been excellent so far. Being dominant against the majority of the opponents and having established themselves as the La Liga table-toppers, things seem to be going pretty well for the club. However, while most of the club players have had a brilliant season so far, contributing in one way or another, it has been a disappointing one for Barca's 21-year-old wing prodigy.

Ansu Fati, who, coming on the back of a rather underwhelming loan spell at Brighton, had been hoping to change his fate at the Blaugrana club but has failed to do so. Even after having been very unfortunate, firstly facing an injury right ahead of the preseason and then having rare game time upon his return, Fati still hopes to succeed at his dream club, FC Barcelona. However, recent reports hint at a serious opportunity for the 21-year-old in Barca's upcoming fixture.
As per Diario SPORT's reports, seeing the player's commitment to the Barcelona project, Barcelona boss Flick might start him against Sevilla in the club's upcoming La Liga matchday. Although the report further mentions that Fati faces competition with prodigy Pau Victor for a start, significant chances are that Flick might prefer him, being a conventional option in the role.
Clearly, for Ansu Fati, who has had rare game time since his injury return, this comes as a massive opportunity to convince Hansi Flick. Moreover, considering that even though the Spanish prodigy has been involved in limited action for quite a long time now, the wing star had shown improved signs in Barca's last fixture against Alaves, chances are that he would materialize this start against Sevilla.
Not to forget, even in his 23 minutes of regular game time against Alaves, he had impressed Barca fans, giving glimpses of his true level. While he wasn't fortunate enough to have his name registered on the scoreline, being denied two times by the opponent keeper, Fati would want to turn things around this time. Barca fans, having seen the player's true potential, would hope that he marks a return to the club's starting XI soon, succeeding at the Blaugrana club.
