FC Barcelona, on the back of dominant displays against some of the best European clubs, continued winning ways as they defeated Espanyol 3-1 at home. While the Blaugrana club didn't look completely dominant during the second half, they had ensured the job in the first half itself, having gotten 3-0 up within the first half an hour of the fixture. With a goal from Club Captain Raphinha and an ecstatic brace from superstar Dani Olmo, Barca ended their Catalan rivals' hopes of getting some points from the fixture. Through a combined effort yet again, the Blaugrana club marched to a win in the end, having further bolstered their winning streak.

While every FC Barcelona player stood crucial in the club's overall performance, some just stood a level apart above others, making this 3-1 win look much more comfortable for the Blaugrana club. On that note, here is a look at the 3 FC Barcelona stars who stood out in the club's 3-1 victory over Espanyol:

Dani Olmo

After getting an excellent kickstart to his Barcelona career, ace star Dani Olmo had to be sidelined with a hamstring injury in the initial phase of the season itself. However, returning back to the Blaugrana club's starting XI against Espanyol, the Spanish superstar has continued things exactly from where he left off.

Having given positive signs during his cameo appearance against Real Madrid, Olmo started in full swing against Espanyol. In the 12th minute only, through an excellent trivela ball from Lamine Yamal, Olmo gave Barca the 1-0 lead, scoring his 4th goal of the season. However, he didn't take much time to score his 5th one as well, as a brilliant tee-up from prodigy Balde was delivered perfectly as a rocket past Joan Garcia. Deservedly winning the MOTM for his brace, Dani Olmo stood crucial for Barca's 3-1 win over Espanyol.
