Brought in as the dream signing of the transfer window, superstar Dani Olmo's Barcelona season has been a mix of two tales. Although the Spaniard had one of the best starts to life at the Blaugrana club, having scored the winner on his Barca debut and going to score a goal each in the coming games, Olmo caught up an injury in just his 3rd club appearance this season.

However, as was expected, the versatile midfielder is set to return for FC Barcelona in the coming games. Although, as per initial plans, Dani Olmo was to play some end minutes against Sevilla, unfortunately, he didn't get subbed in by Hansi Flick. But as it appears, Olmo seems set to feature a crucial part of the Catalan club's upcoming mega UCL fixture against Bayern Munich, hoping to mark a brilliant return.

In fact, ahead of the Bayern fixture, Olmo, being the true Barca fan he is, has expressed his aspirations for the club. Dani Olmo mentioned,

""In Barcelona, I want to achieve everything. My goal is to keep winning and give a lot to the fans.""

So far this season, the way FC Barcelona has been dominating their opponents is spectacular, and certainly, Dani Olmo's return to the number 10 role would be a massive boost for the club. Not to forget, even in the only 3 appearances he made before his injury, Olmo had demonstrated the clear intent playstyle Barca expects from him. Being involved in the buildup, pairing perfectly with Pedri and Casado, the Spaniard had been ecstatic for the club.

Recently, Olmo praised his national and club teammates, Pedri and Lamine Yamal, mentioning how easy it becomes to play with them. Olmo said,

""I knew I would play perfectly with Pedri. He makes things easier, also with Lamine Yamal.""

Going forward, FC Barcelona, having some of the biggest games ahead against Bayern and Real Madrid, would hope for the Spanish trio to continue their mavericks the way they had been doing it before. Although obviously, Dani Olmo might need a few initial minutes to get back to rhythm; he could be a game-changer against Bayern and Real Madrid if properly utilized.
